CHICAGO — Westby High School graduate Chelsea Olson had her first big game as a freshman for the Division I Youngstown State women’s basketball team by scoring 14 points Saturday in a 73-49 win over Loyola of Chicago.

Olson, who played a combined 16 minutes in her first two games, played 22 against Loyola and responded by making 3 of 6 attempts from the 3-point line and 5 of 8 shots overall. She had three rebounds, two steals, one blocked shot, one assist and no turnovers.

Olson is 5-for-11 overall and 3-for-9 from the 3-point line this season after averaging more than 24 points per game as a Westby senior.
