The musical group Kids from Wisconsin are returning to Tomah.

The performance group will bring its “Shine the Light” tour to Tomah High School Thursday, June 28 at 7 p.m. It will be one of 35 stops for the group during a summer tour that runs June 21 to Aug. 18 and includes a seven-day run at the Wisconsin State Fair in West Allis.

This year, Kids from Wisconsin will celebrate its 50th season and will perform many of the group’s all-time favorites, along with five decades of Broadway.

The group consists of musicians between the ages of 15-20 and includes Kennedy Konsitzke of Tomah, Alex Knoepker of Warrens and Critian Nieves from La Crosse. Kaylie Konsitzke from Tomah was selected as an understudy.

The Tomah stop will also be a fund raiser for Tomah Area School District show choirs.
