The Tomah Aquatic Center attracted a healthy crowd on the July 4. The facility will host a "Christmas in July" event Saturday, July 21.

The Tomah Aquatic Center is celebrating Christmas in July on Saturday, July 21 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Christmas in July is the fourth of six scheduled Super Swim Saturday parties at the pool this summer. There will be holiday music, decorations and holiday treats for sale. There will also be a free holiday gift for the first 25 youth swimmers. The gift will be given out by Surfin’ Santa.

“We are quite excited that Santa is willing to make a visit to Tomah during his off season, but it turns out Santa is a close personal friend of Tomah Rotary President Marty Murphy and he was able to arrange the special visit” said Cathy Coffey, Tomah Parks and Recreation Department recreation supervisor.

“It’s an evening of fun and holiday cheer at our wonderful facility,” added Jake Hoffman, the aquatic center’s head lifeguard.

The next Super Swim Saturday party is a beach party Aug. 4, and the final celebration will be a Country Music Jam on Aug. 18. All parties include a free gift for the first 25 youth swimmers and theme snacks and beverages.

Regular admission rates apply. Additional information about summer activities at the aquatic center can be found at
