VIROQUA — Jodi Lynn Davig died peacefully Tuesday, Oct. 17, 2017, surrounded by family.

Jodi was born June 23, 1955, in Litchfield, Minn., to W. C. and Carol Ilstrup. Her family moved to Viroqua in 1969. She graduated from Viroqua High School in 1973. Jodi then received a BS degree from UW-LaCrosse.

On March 30, 1985, Jodi married Richard Davig at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Viroqua.

Jodi started her banking career at First National Bank in Viroqua and received a degree from the Graduate School of Banking, UW-Madison, which she was very proud of! She went on to become executive vice president in charge of bank operations and compliance. Jodi became the first female member of the board of directors at First National Bank in Viroqua, just like her grandma Eva Ilstrup did 60 years prior. Jodi enjoyed her time with the love of her life, Rich, golfing and watching Packers, Brewers and Badgers games. She was an avid fan! Jodi absolutely loved her winters in Arizona, with Rich, their dog, Thumper, and family.

Jodi is survived by her loving husband, Rich; two brothers, Sanford (Diann) Ilstrup of Trempealeau, and Jeff Ilstrup of Onalaska; two sisters, Rondi (Mark) Solverson of Viroqua, and Kris (Wm) Ross of La Crosse; godchildren, Emily Bolstad and AJ Blakley; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and other family members.

Jodi was preceded in death by her parents, W. C. and Carol Ilstrup.

Funeral services for Jodi will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1004 W. Broadway St., in Viroqua. Pastor Kathryn Ingbritsen will officiate. Friends may call during a visitation two hours prior to the service from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the church. A luncheon will follow the service at the Eagles Club, 216 S. Rock Ave., in Viroqua.

In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be given in Jodi’s name to a charity of donors choice.
