30 Years of Gratitude

Howard Midtlien of Chaseburg with Vernon County Crime Stopper's Director Bruce Olson. Midtlien represented the Chaseburg area on the Vernon County Crime Stoppers  board for 30 years.

Howard Midtlien of Chaseburg served on the Vernon County Crime Stoppers Board of Directors for 30 years, from the start of the program in 1987 to 2017.

Crime Stopper’s director Bruce Olson, said Midtlien was a tremendous asset to the Crime Stoppers program and represented the Chaseburg area well on our board.

“Howard has had a lot of good ideas that have enhanced our partnership with local law enforcement and the fight against crime in Vernon County.”

As a tribute to Midtlien and his years of service a Vernon County Crime Stopper’s Bench was placed in front of the Chaseburg Village Hall.

If you would like to become involved with the Vernon County Crime Stoppers organization contact Olson at the Vernon County Sheriff’s Department, or call 637-8477.
