Car-deer crash injures one in Winona County

One person was injured after a car-deer collision Wednesday on Hwy. 43 in Winona County.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a 2014 Buick Enclave operated by Michael John Laak, 66, Maple Grove, Minnesota, struck a deer in Wilson Township shortly after 8 p.m.

A passenger in the vehicle, Linda Louise Laak, 64, also of Maple Grove, was transported to a Winona hospital, where she was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
